Winding Down School

7 more weeks of school left - at the Academy.
5 weeks of UNT and then I'll walk with my MEd!

Now that things are winding down on the school year, I'm going to try to get in the habit of posting in a regular basis!

My Web1 students are building web-sites for teachers here at the school. Some of them are really impressing me with their creativity. Some, who were not really interested in designing a web page, are finally having fun and seem to see what all the 'web design hoopla' is about. And finally.... one has decided to make Web Development their career choice. Wow! What a year it has been.

I really love watching these students grow throughout the year. They don't seem themselves changing the way we do. I only regret I couldn't spend this kind of time with my own children. I guess that's the 'catch-22' of teaching..... you're teaching someone else's children.
